I am writing this blog for several reasons: writing regularly, expressing myself about my intense desire to have my own HOME, and informing others that they too can buy a house (especially single women), and to convey the plight that I am experienceing to own my own HOME. Though, I am sure I will have a breakthrough or two as I continue and enivitably something else will reveal itself.
Since I have been investigating and preapring to buy a house I have mentioned it to several women with in 10 years, both ways, of my age. The looks of surprise I received from them were interesting to say the least by the way all these women do not own there own home. And I believe they are not aware that they can own there own home.
This is something I too was unware of. Sure I dreamnt of owning my own home as I dreamnt of having the perfect man in my life. Though, I simply thought both dreams were simply just that, dreams.
Until one day when I met a firefighter.

Well, I guess I should tell you a bit about myself and where I am buying my HOME. I am 46, never married, and with out children. I have been living in the Hampton's for 11 years, except for a year that I spent back in the City (New York, that is), a winter when I tried southern Florida, and on and off in Port Jefferson where I have a good male friend.
Other than that I have lived in the Hampton's since the spring of 1998. I have lived all over the Hampton's, as I had mentioned, I moved approximately 30 times in these past 11 years.
The South Fork of Long Island, is The Hampton's, one of New York State’s most famous vacation choices. It is bounded on one side by the Peconic Bay and on the other by The Atlantic Ocean. Like most places the Hampton's have changed dramatically in the past ten years. Some changes have been for good and some for not so good, overall it has become an easier place to live and work. And now since the housing crises has hit it has become affordable for met to buy a HOME.
Yippee!

This is my second post, I would like this blog to be all about FindingHome. As I had mentioned in my previous post, I moved approximately 30 times in 11 years a matter that became very disturbing as time progressed. At first it was relatively easy. I had traveled much throughout my life here in these United States and around the globe, I lived abroad for years in Europe, Australia, and Central America so to continue to move about only proved my incredible ability to be highly adaptable. It is difficult to be anything but adaptable when one meets and intermingles with other cultures. However, by the time I hit 40 the bravado of adaptability was wearing thin and it became harder and harder to live with people that I did not know. Novelty was wearing thin. Certainly in these past 11 years I lived alone though it was perhaps overall a total of only 3 years the rest of that time I lived with others.
I am 46 now and so eager to have my own HOME!
I need breakfast see you later.
or care to much about. nothis is not a small issue I am I went to the gym this morning and took a swim

Hello Everyone!
I am so excited! I am on my way to buy my own home!
With the housing crises that the world has experienced these past several years some may wonder why I would want to own a home. And then some may wonder how I got to 2010 with out having owned one before. Yes, the home I purchase will be my first! And after 30 some odd moves in just over 11 years I am more than ready to have MY HOME.
I say MY loudly because I have had the pleasure and displeasure of living with other people on and off for these past many years. Difficult would be an understatement in those displeasurable homes and though I do not want those times to stand out they certainly have helped to push me to desire my own home.
Desire is a key word in my life when it pertains to finding home. I think for many years I fantasized about it and of course considering I was born in 1963 I was told by my father that I would marry and have children neither of which occured. I did fantasizes, though briefly, that I would live with a man and though I have on occasion the word joy did not constantly hover over those residences. Certainly i am nt expecting perfection in relationship. But now is the time to FIND MY HOME. And, hello, make my rules.
Yes, living with a man helped to inspire my desire to buy my own home. That is a two edged phrase. On the one edge there is a man (meaning one man) that pushed me to have my own home and on the other edge there were men including that one man that only proved to me by living with them or just simply knowing them that I indeed want my OWN HOME!
Living with a man has its benefits and its trails. Sometimes the trails outweigh the benefits, and I must say I do applaud women who find men that when living with them the benefits outweigh the trails.
At this piont in my life that is not the condition. No matter. In those days years ago when dear old Dad would mistakenly declare (many a times mind you), You are going to get married and have children, I do recall my responds was always, I dont want to!
Yikes. Poor Dad. He was often wrong, but he many nice qualities too.
Back to My HOME.
And back to work and the day ahead which includes finding home.
